MED210 Intermediate Meditation: Attaining Inner Confidence

Meditative awareness gives us an inner stability and confidence that we can rely on to guide our actions. This course investigates the meaning of confidence through Tarthang Tulku’s essay “Attaining Inner Confidence” from Gesture of Balance juxtaposed with writings from Western philosophers. Meditation practice will form the core of the course.

Prerequisite: one year of meditation experience.
